Laura Dills is a world traveller who has brought back art and interesting pieces of furniture from all of the countries she has worked in over the years. Maybe the most unique are the camel harnesses from India turned into a bookshelf in the front entryway or the coffee table made from an elaborate Indian door. Guests will find renewable, hand-crafted "palissandre" furniture and paintings from Madagascar, metal artwork from Kenya and wood with brass inlays from India.

Home at 1470: Built in 1897 in picturesque Old Louisville, the home is in the National Historic District. The three-story Bed and Breakfast has been fully renovated over the last 10 years by the Dills family and the previous owners.
